Signed: Josiah Quinby. Followed by a note declaring that a second letter was written by him with much the same substance.
"Here follows the copy of a third letter he sent to them, on the day that he and his men first began to cut timber and fence some of the land in question."--page [2], dated: Mannor of Fordham, January 7. 1734. Followed by a further delineation of the controversy, and declaration that Quinby is willing to settle the matter in court, "written the 11th of January, 1734."
