Description
Item Description:Evans attributes this almanac, as he does most of those issued under the Bickerstaff pseudonym, to Benjamin West. A majority of these can be shown to have been definitely or probably the work of other calculators. West issued no almanacs under his own name for theyears between 1787 and 1804.
Identical in content and typography, except for the title page, with The Town and country almanack for 1797 by Abraham Weatherwise, also published by White. Some revisions in the calendar page notes correct the court sessions in the Weatherwise issue.
