| Item Description: | Entered by Evans under the publishers, Thomas and John Fleet, who are named in the 1789, 1791, and 1794-96 issues as editors of the Register. The almanac was probably calculated by Nathanael Low. The eclipse predictions are a condensed version of those in his An astronomical diary or almanack for 1784, also published by Fleet, though the actual calculations tend to vary slightly. The calendar page calculations are for the most part identical, again with some slight variations. Advertised in the Continental journal, Boston, Nov. 20, 1783. "A register for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."--80 pages at end. In addition to the usual information found in a state register, pages 17-24 contain "Names of the streets, lanes, and alleys, in the town of Boston", with a description of their routes.
