| Item Description: | Evans attributes this, as he does most Bickerstaff almanacs, to Benjamin West; but the calendar pages and eclipse predictions, with some of the other matter, are identical, even to the typographical arrangement, with those in Nathanqel Low's An astronomical diary or almanack for 1795 (Boston: T. & J. Fleet). Low's almanac was calculated for the meridian of Boston, which explains the considerable discrepancy between the calculations of Bickerstaff and other Connecticut almanacs for the same year.
