| Item Description: | "N. Storm" is a pseudonym. The actual calculator was Nathan Daboll. The preface and the extensive eclipse predictions are practically identical with those in his New England almanack and gentlemen and ladies' diary for 1801 (New London). Most of the astronomical and horological notes on the calendar pages duplicate those in Daboll. The calculations for the sun vary in part, and those for the tides altogether, reflecting the difference in meridian between the two almanacs. The Anatomy is the only illustration.
