| Item Description: | "Thomas More" is a pseudonym. Probably printed in the Philadelphia shop of Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. See Miller, C.W. Benjamin Franklin's Philadelphia printing, entry 448. Two states of the title page noted. In one, the imprint is as recorded here, with "James Parker" in italic type. In the other, the printer's name reads "J. Parker" and is in roman. Advertised in the New York gazette revived in the weekly post boy, Oct. 3, 1748. The Anatomy is the only illustration.
