Summary:Young and beautiful actress Ann Darrow is from the world of 1930s vaudeville and is down on her luck. She meets Carl Denham, an overly-ambitious filmmaker who brings her on an exploratory expedition to Skull Island. There she finds compassion and the true meaning of humanity with a giant ape named Kong. The filmmaker takes and displays the ape in New York in hopes of finding fame by using commercial exploitation, but this leads to catastrophe. Beauty and beast finally meet their fate, and so does the man who falls in love with Ann and plays an unlikely hero by trying to save her from Kong and her destiny.
