| Summary: | This professional paper provides an overview of the factors that determine the success of U.S. based construction companies interested in exploring the Eastern European infrastructure sector. It tries to establish the common criteria and characteristics of U.S. based construction companies that are known to have successfully penetrated these previously unexplored global markets. This investigation is based on a survey questionnaire sent out to 15 U.S. based construction companies that are known to have a successful presence in that region. This research hopes to serve as a guideline to those construction companies wishing to gain entry in this region.
