Shipton, in Sibley's Harvard graduates, he "published the Vermont almanac and register in 1796-1800." - From Sept. 17, 1798, through Oct. 1799, the Herald imprint read: Printed .. by John Walker, Jun. for S. Williams. With the issue for Nov. 4, 1799 it became: Printed for S. Williams; but Walker remained as printer at the Herald office until Jan. 6, 1800.
