| Item Description: | This work mainly consists of Pennyman's own sermons and letters. Another issue of the 2nd edition, with a different titlepage and preliminaries, with the address "To the reader" on the verso of the prefatory leaf. With a 7 line errata on the same verso. Pp.28-29 are printed in red and black. Pp.269-96 contain: 'An appendix, to the second edition of The account of my life', with a colophon reading: London, printed October 31, 1705. Pp.297-300. Contain: 'More memento's', with a colophon reading: London, printed December 8. 1705. The signatures are continuous with the text. Pp.1-16 [sig. T] contains: 'Mr. Pennyman having got printed two little papers, .. ' with a colophon reading: Printed July the 9th. 1706. In this last appendix, the page numbers are centred; a variant has the colophon replaced by a verse signed Philotheos, with the page numbers in the outer margins and the date 1706 in the inner margins.
