Item Description:This work mainly consists of Pennyman's own sermons and letters.
Another issue of the 2nd edition, with a different titlepage and preliminaries, with the address "To the reader" on the verso of the prefatory leaf.
With a 7 line errata on the same verso.
Pp.28-29 are printed in red and black.
Pp.269-96 contain: 'An appendix, to the second edition of The account of my life', with a colophon reading: London, printed October 31, 1705.
Pp.297-300.
Contain: 'More memento's', with a colophon reading: London, printed December 8. 1705.
The signatures are continuous with the text.
Pp.1-16 [sig. T] contains: 'Mr. Pennyman having got printed two little papers, .. ' with a colophon reading: Printed July the 9th. 1706.
In this last appendix, the page numbers are centred; a variant has the colophon replaced by a verse signed Philotheos, with the page numbers in the outer margins and the date 1706 in the inner margins.
This variant is the same setting as sig.T in the other issue of the 2nd. edition.
