Item Description:Originally published in 1710 as four separate pamphlets, each with the title 'A collection of poems, for and against Dr. Sacheverell'; these four pamphlets were put together and given a general titlepage with the same title; then reissued by Edmund Curll in 1712 as 'Whig and tory: or, wit on both sides'; another reissue of these four pamphlets in 1715 was entitled 'A tory pill, to purge Whig melancholy'; 'Tory pills' is the second edition of 'A tory pill' but with some poems omitted.
The bookseller's name in the imprint is fictitious.
