The six pages originally pp. [23]-[28] of 'The Censoriad' have been deliberately been moved and placed between the titlepage and page [3] of that work, as the contents leaf indicates.
'A modest defence of Mr. G---n' and 'Various remarks on the Modest defence', with separate titlepages, continue the register of 'The Censoriad' (with sigs. D and E on the titlepages respectively).
