'The spectator' has its own titlepage, which is dated 1793, and bears the statement: "In eight volumes" thus covering 'Harrison's British classicks', volumes IV and V, which have continuous register and pagination. Plates dated 1785 and 1786. This edition was originally issued in weekly numbers and collected with a general titlepage and preliminary matter; an advertisement for Number 1 was issued in 1793.
