Translation of an anonymous pamphlet entitled: Observations sur le Mémoire justificatif de la cour de Londres (Paris : Imprimerie royale, 1780), attributed to J.-M. Gérard de Rayneval in: Barbier, M. Dictionaire des ouvrages anonymes et pseudonymes. 2d edition (Paris, 1827), s.volume 23110. Attributed to Pierre Beaumarchais by Evans, who names Peter Stephen Du Ponceau as translator. Beaumarchais published a distinct work with the same title under his own name, whose imprint reads: A Londres, ä Philadelphie, 1779.
