The engraved titlepage to volume2, dated 1783, is followed by an engraved titlepage dated 1781, reading 'The journey to Snowdon'. Ten supplemental plates with seven explanatory pages of letterpress were published to accompany the first part of volume2. Pennant's tour in Wales actually took place in 1773.
