Verso of the half-title bears the English titlepage: 'Acta historica reginarum Angliæ. Twelve original drawings, ..' - The introduction and the historical account to each plate each have separate pagination and register. Each historical account has a parallel divisional titlepage in English and French. The plates accompanying the historical accounts are engravings of detail taken from the folio mezzotints, which were published separately between 1786 and 1792.
