Summary:Air toxics emissions from gas industry sources, including glycol dehydration units and natural gas-fired engines and turbines, have become an important environmental issue as a result of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, as well as other federal and state regulatory programs. The objective of this conference was to encourage communication and transfer of information on ongoing research, regulatory activity, control technologies, problems, and solutions to gas industry air toxics issues. Twenty-seven technical presentations/papers and one panel discussion were presented on regulatory issues, regional air quality issues, source characterization/research and development, industry approaches and emission control techniques
