Description
Summary:Each year, as many as 200,000 Americans are stalked in cities and suburbs, around college campuses, and even through cyberspace. This program presents the case of Jodie Foster, targeted by John Hinckley, Jr.; a pair of 10-year-old girls, who became the objects of obsession of two men almost three times their age; a college coed and her unwelcome suitor; a divorcee and her violent ex-husband; and the notorious "Vito" who terrorized women and men via the Internet. Anti-stalking legislation, active avoidance policies, house arrest monitors, and online privacy issues are discussed.
