Abstract:	This report distills evaluations and discussions by a group of public health experts on the topic of vaccine safety. The broad scope of the congressionally mandated charge forced equally broad analysis, congruent with other congressionally mandated actions focused on discrete components of the vaccine safety network in the United States. The Task Force recommendations reflect a consensus on how to continue and, indeed, improve the diverse activities and responsibilities related to vaccine safety.
