Near-Rings of functions /
In this dissertation, several near-rings of functions are constructed and investigated, with emphasis on the internal structure of the near-rings. All of the near-rings studied here are of the form M(G,L(G),A) where G is a finite group, L(G) is a collection of subgroups of G, and A []AutG with A(G[...

| Summary: | In this dissertation, several near-rings of functions are constructed and investigated, with emphasis on the internal structure of the near-rings. All of the near-rings studied here are of the form M(G,L(G),A) where G is a finite group, L(G) is a collection of subgroups of G, and A []AutG with A(G[i])[]G[i] for all G[i] [] L(G), where we define M(G,L(G),A)={f [] M(G) | f(G[i])[] G[i] for all G[i][] L(G) and f [a](x)= af(x), for each a[]A, x[][]U G[i][L(G)G[i]}. We give a complete characterization of ideals and radicals of M(G,L(G),A) for several A's and L(G)'s. |
