| Summary: | A collection of Chaplin's first films, produced at Keystone Studios. Making a living: Chaplin's first film in which he and a rival vie for a job as a reporter. Caught in a cabaret: Charlie plays a cabaret waiter who impersonates a duke and attends a garden party given by Mabel. Mabel's busy day: Charlie steals Mabel's portable sandwich shop at a car race track. The masquerader: After being fired, an actor returns to the studio, disguised as a woman who charms all the men on the set. The rounders: After coming home drunk, Chaplin and Arbuckle go out to Smith's Cafe with their wives in hot pursuit. |
