Description
Summary:Kirk and other members of the crew of the original Enterprise attend the launching of the new Enterprise. The ship receives a distress call and they must try to rescue two ships engulfed in a ribbon of energy. Among those saved are Soran and Guinan. Kirk is killed in the process of saving the Enterprise from destruction. Four generations later, Picard receives a distress call and rescues Soran. He tells Picard about the Nexus, that ribbon of energy and how it is an eternal paradise. Soran's plan is to redirect the path of the Nexus by destroying a densely inhabited planet. With the help of the "dead" Kirk, Picard foils his scheme.
