| Summary: | We will investigate the relationship between local theory and local reflexivity for operator spaces. "Local theory" is the study of an infinite dimensional operator space through the collection of its finite dimensional subspaces. On the other hand, contrary to its name, local reflexivity is a global structure of an operator space. We will show that there are several connections between these notions. We also study exactness for reduced group C*-algebras and the operator space analogue of Dor's theorem on almost isometric embedding between L₁-spaces. |
