| Summary: | The purpose of this paper is to discuss the architecture and content of a web site supporting the Pathfinder project, a jointly funded helicopter/airplane maintenance venture between the United States Army and the United States Air Force. Because traditional manufacturing methods cannot be applied to maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) facilities like the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) and the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center, unique solutions are being developed to reduce overall maintenance times. The web site contains a series of tutorials explaining the concepts under which these solutions are founded. Audio/video presentations, slide shows and dynamic software demonstrations are tools used to support the self-paced learning, within the web site, and provide a foundation for future projects under Pathfinder. |
