| Summary: | In this thesis, multi-carrier modulation (MCM) as well as the multi-carrier symbol are described and analyzed. Quadrature amplitude modulation and constellations are discussed as foundations of MCM and an efficient signal decoding algorithm is introduced. Also, a bit loading algorithm is reviewed and applied to a typical channel. MCM along with the mentioned algorithms are simulated in Matlab and finally implemented on the Texas Instruments TM5320C54 DSP. |
