Item Description:	The Cushing Library/Chapman Texas Collection copy is part of the Floyd & Louise Chapman Texas & Borderlands Collection. A reprint of the edition published at Valladolid in 1555 under title: La relacion y Comentarios del gouernador Aluar Nuñez Cabeca de Vaca, de lo acaescido en las dos jornadas que hizo a las indias. The first volume contains the "Relación" relating the author's wanderings from Florida to the Pacific ocean, and the "Comentarios", written by Pedro Hernández, "seriuano y secretario de la prouincia", narrating Cabeza de Vaca's experiences in South America. The second volume contains the "varios documentos inéditos". Includes index.
