| Summary: | This study takes an in-depth look at two highly creative individuals in an attempt to determine the presence of three traits associated with creativity. The first trait explored was sensitivities, which was indicated by the subjects' scores on the Overexcitabilities Questionnaire (Falk, Piechowski, & Lind, 1994) in relation to the mean from a data base containing six hundred and fifty-four scored responses. The second trait, flexibility was examined by looking at transcripts of the subjects' recounting of their creative history, in relation to avoidance language and challenge seeking language. The third trait, originality, was investigated by comparing language the subjects used in talking about changes in their lives with the levels of transfigural understanding. |
