| Abstract: | The wastewater laboratory manual is furnished by the Environmental Protection Agency as an aid to the laboratory analyst for making wastewater analyses. It is not meant to be the ultimate answer for the most precise and accurate tests. However, the procedures contained herein for the most widely used parameters in a treatment plant are of the highest precision. After briefly summarizing laboratory techniques and equipment, the report presents over 40 tests such as for oxygen, nitrogen, sludge volume, pH, bacteria, etc. |
