It published editorials, abstracts of foreign and domestic news, miscellaneous sketches of a literary and scientific nature, brief book reviews, and some poetry. Cf. American periodicals, 1741-1900. "We propose to render the Weekly inspector a vehicle of intelligence, which shall be principally devoted to the political interests of our country."--Cf. volume 1, number 1, page 2.
