| Summary: | This Record of Study summarizes a Doctor of Engineering internship undertaken to develop the foundations for a professional consulting firm specializing in providing distribution marketing assistance to manufacturers, distributors, and end users of industrial goods. The distribution consulting company was formed under the supervision of RRC, Inc., a Texas-based consulting firm, and is operated as a sole proprietorship in the state of Texas. This Record of Study traces the processes required to start and profitably manage a consulting business through its crucial first year, and profiles the consulting and training activities which were undertaken on behalf of selected customers during the internship.
