| Summary: | This thesis investigates computer based visualization as a tool and method for envisioning information. It involves the collaborative creation and evaluation of a visualization project which is based upon the conceptual paradigm outlined in Anya Foos-Grabers book, DEATHING: An Alternative for the Final Moments of Life. The visualization is both aesthetic in its expression and clearly communicative of the original ideas. Included is a discussion which centers on techniques and aesthetic choices followed by an evaluation of the visualization and the collaborative process. A review of selected, relevant film follows the evaluation. |
