| Summary: | Seven cartoons which won or were nominated for Academy Awards between 1953 and 1980. "Every child" is a thought-provoking tale of a baby who mysteriously appears on a doorstep and is shunted from household to household. "The sand castle" is a menagerie of unusual creatures, each shaped to fulfill a particular role, creating an architectural masterpiece that fails to take nature into account. Jack had everything but so did all his neighbors until he came upon the magic beans in "The house that Jack built." "Special delivery" is a series of comic misadventures that stretch the imagination to its limits. "Walking" is a lively and comic parade of characters whose personalities are reflected in their walks. "The street" is the story of a boy, a dying grandmother and her soon to be vacant room. "Neighbours" is the classic film parable about two neighbors who come to blows over a lone flower. |
