| Item Description: | Listed at Wise 19 as being published in 1861. "The second division of this volume was published in the winter of 1832. Some of the poems have been considerably altered. Others have been added, which, with one exception, were written in 1833." page [380]. The Cushing Library/Lit./Tennyson copy contains several pages of publisher's advertisements in the front of the book dated June 1862. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy has a fore-edge painting and has been rebound by J.B. Hawes, Cambridge. This copy is inscribed to E.R. Lawrence "with Papa and Mama's love March 31st, 1863" and has "ARSS" written in contemporary manuscript on the front free endpaper. |
