In order to show, that, since such a study of the scriptures in mens indispensable duty, it concerns all Christian societies to remove (as much as possible) those discouragements. By a Presbyter of the Church of England. The seventh edition. To which is annexed, the censure of the lower house of convocation upon this book. There is also added in this edition, a letter written by the Reverend Mr John Hales of Eaton, to Arch-Bishop Laud, upon occasion of his tract concerning schism. Never before printed.
