A declaration of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament : that all colonels, captaines, and other officers with all other well-affected persons inhabiting in the severall counties of Hampshire the towne and county of Southhampton, Sussex, Surrey and Kent shall and may associate themselves in the mutuall defence and preservation of each other : and shall have power to rayse forces of horse and foot to suppresse all such as are or shall be raysed to leaveie warre against the Parliament or that make any insurrection, plunder, and destroy His Majesties good subjects in those counties.
