That the Lord Generall the Earl of Essex, be desired to grant a commission to the Earl of Manchester, to be Sergeant Major Generall of all the Forces of the six associated counties. 3. That the said six associated counties shall forthwith raise a body of ten thousand foot and dragoons to withstand the enemy."
