Modification to USGS base maps by the Geometronics Service Center from 1986-87 aerial photography and 1987-88 correction guides furnished by the Eastern Region. Base maps for sheets are drawn from all 3 eds. of the USGS topographic quadrangles for the 2 states. Projections used are: polyconic, transverse Mercator, and universal transverse Mercator.
