Beginning with the 10th annual issue (covering the literature of 1910) the section QR (serum physiology) is common to the volumes for Q (physiology) and R (bacteriology)
Each class is in one or two volumes, which contain instructions, a schedule of classification and index (in English, French, German and Italian), an author catalogue and a closely classified subject index.
Beginning with the 6th annual issue, covering the literature of 1906, class N, zoology, is merged with the Zoological record, volumes 43-50 (1906-1914) Issued in two bindings, one uniform with the International catalogue of scientific literature set, one uniform with the Zoological record. Each volume has t.-p. both of the International catalogue of scientific literature and of the Zoological record.
