Item Description:The statement First Edition and Second Edition on the copyright page was a quasifiction; during the printing of the book the press was stopped, the First Edition statement removed, and replaced by the statement Second Edition. The code letters I-K appear also in copies bearing the Second Edition statement. Cf. BAL.
