This comedy has been attributed to Antonio Coello and to King Philip IV of Spain by Palau y Dulcet, Manual del librero hispanoamericano, t. 3, 1950, page 535; and by Mesonero Romanos, Biblioteca de autores españoles, volumes 45, 1858, p. xxvi-xxvii. This "suelta" is found in the collection titled "Comedias españoles [sic]", which is a title supplied by José M. Regueiro in Spanish drama of the Golden Age : a catalogue of the Comedia collection in the University of Pennsylvania Libraries, page 48. The century of publication (late 17th) is found in Palau y Dulcet, Manual del librero hispanoamericano, t. 3, 1950, page 535, item. number 56177.
