| Item Description: | Volumes 5-8 of "Parte segunda. Comedias de capa y espada" published in 8 volumes. Volumes 1-4 can be found in parts 2-5 of reel 81. These four volumes are part of a collection that was published between 1785-1786 in 16 volumes. The work is composed of the following: "Comedias de figurón", pt. 1a (4 v.); "Comedias de capa y espada", pt. 2a (8 v.); "Comedias heroycas", pt. 3a (2 v.); "Entremeses", pt. 4a (1 v.); and Obras poeticas. "Tragedias" (1 v.). This last volume is 2nd edition, Madrid : Aznar, 1786. Reference: Palau y Dulcet, Manual del librero hispanoamericano, 1953, t. 6, page 94, item number 99111. Each of the comedies has a critical "argumento." An index of the collection can be found in volume 2 of "Parte tercera. Comedias heroycas" (reel 83, part 1). "Erratas" for all of the volumes can be found in "Parte IV. Entremeses" in part 2 of reel 83. These 16 volumes can be found in part 4 of reel 80 through part 3 of reel 83.
