The Romaunt of the rose /

The Romaunt of the Rose is the Middle English version of Le roman de la rose, a Middle French romance begun by Guillaume de Lorris and finished by Jean de Meun. There are three fragments, the first of which, and sometimes the third, are ascribed to Chaucer.
