| Item Description: | "These bookes are to bee had, at Master William Peasley esq ... or in his absence, at Master Iohn Morgans house in High Holbourne ... London." In the appendix, pages 7-23 numbered 9-25. Apparently a revision and enlargement of a pamphlet published in London in 1634, entitled: "A relation of the successeful beginnings of the Lord Baltemore's plantation in Maryland." The earlier "Relation" was, possibly, based on a narrative written by Andrew White, the Jesuit father, who accompanied the first colonists to Maryland. cf. Steiner, Beginnings of Maryland, Baltimore, 1903, page 8. Microfilm. Ann Arbor, Mich., Xerox University Microfilms, 1974. 1 reel. 35 mm. (American Culture Series, reel 599.1) Microform. |
