Putnam's Sons, 1912 in a slipcase at the call number of Irish folk-history plays. The three volumes were originally the property of John Quinn, who inscribed them to Joseph Conrad, who in turn gave them to Irish portraitist Alice Sarah Kinkead. Our Irish theatre is inscribed by John Quinn, "To Joseph Conrad. This record of a contest in which it was a delight to have a small part. From John Quinn, December 16, 1913." It also bears the signature of Irish portrait painter Alice Sarah Kinkead, who painted the last likeness of Joseph Conrad. Contains a bookseller's description. |
