"Limited edition Eight hundred copies printed for the annual meeting of the District III, Texas Library Association, October 28, 1972." - colophon. Limited edition of 800 copies. The Cushing Library/Dykes Collection copy is inscribed by the author to his daughter, Martha Dykes Goldsmith: “For Little Sug - these old friends sure looked good in the cases at the Friends' meeting - It was nice to see them again, Daddy". The Cushing Library/Lit./Dobie copy was acquired as part of Jeff C. Dykes' J. Frank Dobie Collection. The Cushing Library/Dykes Dobie copy is signed by Helen H.
