Item Description:	Tryon co. comprises all of the province west of the tier of counties on the west bank of the Hudson. Its name was later changed to Montgomery and the county has been many times subdivided. A later edition, New York, 1849, published under title: The border warfare of New York, during the revolution; or The annals of Tryon county.
