The valley of youth /

The author was born in London in 1870. At the age of 16 he went to sea, sailing around the Horn to San Francisco. In 1889, he moved to British Columbia, and engaged in ranching and other occupations in the Okanagan country. In 1937, he moved to Victoria, where he wrote this, his first book.
