Item Description:	The autobiography was edited from a typed copy in the McClung collection in the Lawson McGhee Library in Knoxville, Tenn. The letters, chiefly to Lyman Copeland Draper, are from the Draper correspondence and the Draper manuscripts in the library of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin.
