Abstract:The purpose of this study was to develop a model training program using the systems approach for chief administers of comprehensive junior colleges. The program was based on behavioral objectives determined by a panel of junior college presidents. Data for the program were gathered using an instrument which employed the Delphi techniques. This study viewed three routes through which an individual could be trained for administrative jobs. These included in-service training, formal training, and informal study programs.
