| Item Description: | From 1897 to 1921 forms the American edition of the London Studio, published by John Lane company, volume 1 of the International studio corresponding to volume 10 of the Studio. A certain part of each number was printed in England and joined with an American section to make the complete magazine. In 1922 the International studio was purchased by the International studio inc., New York, and produced henceforth wholly in America. From Mar. 1897-June 1907 title reads: The International studio; an illustrated magazine of fine and applied art. In July 1907 the title of individual numbers became International studio, though the longer title was for a time continued on title-pages. "Associated with the Connoisseur," Oct. 1927-Aug. 1931.
